What you need to know about SENTINEL
How is SENTINEL installed on the vessel?
The crew installs all sensors in a single 4–6 hour session. No specialist engineers required. SENSYN provides full installation documentation and remote support. From the moment installation is complete, monitoring begins.
Do we own the sensors or is it a service model?
SENTINEL is a pure service model – you pay for monitoring, not hardware. SENSYN owns and maintains the sensors. Annual recalibration is included. If a sensor needs replacement, SENSYN handles it.
What does the shore team actually do?
SENSYN’s dedicated shore team monitors all vessel data daily. They run AI-enhanced multi-parameter analysis on the ASTER cloud platform, generate weekly intelligence reports, and send immediate critical alerts to your management team via SMS and email.
Can SENTINEL replace periodic lab testing entirely?
SENTINEL includes 60 shore lab samples per year for compliance purposes. The inline sensors provide continuous data between samples – significantly reducing reliance on periodic testing while maintaining classification compliance. |
