Vivek has spent over a decade studying what fluids do when things go wrong. His PhD at the National University of Singapore included co-constructing the largest multiphase testing facility in South-East Asia, where he developed algorithms to detect flow patterns and pipeline losses that no off-the-shelf instrument could catch.
At Sensyn, Vivek leads product and business development, translating deep fluid science into products that work on real ships, in real conditions, without needing a PhD to operate.
Before Sensyn, he founded Dravam in Singapore, a maritime fluid quality monitoring startup backed by MPA, ESG, and NUS-GRIP. Dravam’s dRBUNKER system won the PIER71 Smart Port Challenge Grand Final in 2019 and was deployed on bunker tankers operating in Singapore waters. That company became the proving ground for the core ideas behind Sensyn’s sensing and analytics philosophy.
